Leo, Family & Friends

Besides having a large family with many descendants, Leo and Céline had many friends and traveled extensively. ALL THINGS BAKELITE describes this in more detail.

Many of these photos are from the Baekeland family archives presently in the possession of Leo’s descendants, Hugh Karraker and Vanessa von Hessert. Some of the Florida photos are from the Fairchild Botanic Garden Archives. Some photos were taken by Leo himself.
